The Military Order of the Cooties of the United States was primarily organized as a fun organization, with no valid reason to duplicate the solemn work of our parent organization.

 Our objectives – Clean fun, harmless frolic, good comradeship and a desire to increase our circle of friends in the VFW and the M.O.C., services to the VFW, the widows and orphans in our National Home, the hospital program of "Keep ‘Em Smilin’ in Beds of White.”  At all times, neat appearance, conduct becoming a Cootie and gentle person, while in public and at VFW or M.O.C. activities.

Stay on the beam, heed good advice, keep our organization clean.  To help gain this goal, it is the purpose of this Ritual.  Read and follow it carefully.
